Hello Guides.

Sec ones and threes,
we hope you had fun during yesterday's campsite cleaning, and good job :)

Now that exams are over, it's time for all our post-exam activities!
There are many lined up for you, so do look forward to them :)

We'll be having our day camp next week, please take note of the following details.

Day Camp 2009:
Date/Time
: 26th to 29th October, 2-5pm

Venue: Field, outside CCA rooms

Attire:
Sec 1s and 2s:
1st day- Guides Tee with trackpants
2nd day- PE Tee with trackpants
3rd day- PE Tee with trackpants
4th day- Guides Tee with trackpants

Sec 3s:
1st day- House Tee with trackpants
2nd day- Guides Tee with trackpants
3rd day- House Tee with trackpants
4th day- Farewell Tee with trackpants

These are the activities that will be carried out during these four days:

  • Footdrills
  • PT and Games
  • Tent Pitching
  • Outdoor Cooking
  • Box Oven (Sec 1s)
  • Pioneering (sec 2s)
    - Axemanship
    - Emergency Shelter
    - Rope Ladder
    - Orienteering (Sec 1s and 2s)

We will be dismissed at 12.45 on Monday, and at 1.45 from Tuesday to Thursday.
Assemble at the stage area by 2pm sharp with your bags and belongings.
Take your lunch before day camp, lunch will not be provided, except during outdoor cooking.
Do have a heavy recess and lunch, you'll need energy for day camp.

Things to bring:

  1. Water bottle
  2. Writing Materials
  3. Old cloth
  4. PVA Glue
  5. Twine & Scissors
  6. Toothpicks
  7. Back of foolscap paper (Hardcover)
  8. Scotch Tape
  9. Plasticine
  10. Specs Hook & Hair Accessories
  11. Poncho (army green)

Remember to read up your handbooks, and come prepared.

Remember to make minimal noise when doing all the activities as the O-levels will be going on at the same time. Also, keep away from the hall as much as possible during that period.

Be prepared for tests in between, and do your best!
